This year looks a lot different than Halloweens past, but that’s no reason not to dress up and have some fun!
Need some last minute costume ideas? Here’s a couple quick and easy bat-inspired ideas!

Take the tried and true standard of a white sheet, with eye holes cut out. The twist? Add a set of white or grey bat wings (an old umbrella, or some wire hangers and a trash bag make great pair of DIY bat wings), and voila!
Now you are a “Ghost bat”!

Grab a black or shimmery mesh cape or fabric (I’ve been successful at finding them in the bargain/sale section of most Halloween shops), a black dress or top/pants combo, and some black or brown foam or felt. Cut-out some bat shapes, and pin them to your clothes. Now you are a mist net on a busy night!
Really in a pinch? Throw on a pair of cargo pants and hiking shirt, a pair of gardening gloves and a headlamp. Carry around a field note book and a stuffed bat – now you too can be a bat biologist!

Have a safe, fun, and happy Halloween!

I love these!
